The themes of our show are actually quite dark in and of themselves. Not dark in the sense of 'scary', but dark in the sense of coming from a space that is sort of hidden and out of the light.
I've worked with victims of war crimes and crimes against humanity, victims of human rights abuses. Having the opportunity to help these people really doesn't feel like a job anymore. I see the potential that law has to change peoples lives, to empower them, and so that's what really drives me to do what I do.
